Aloha amigos!! So I really want to get this . If anyone would like to take a crack at drawing any of the Bomb Squad ladies (Julie, Dagger, or Dasha in the gallery). I would love to see your take on them. To make it interesting, I will check out all of them that have been done between now (March 30th) and Friday Apr 3rd at 12 noon Pacific Standard Time. I will pick my top three favorite's and the powerful winners will get an original watercolor or acrylic of the Bomb Squad character of their choice.

A little BG on the characters.

Julie: Her father was an American real estate tycoon (but a cool one, like the guy who invented Virgin airlines) When she was six their plane crashed in the jungles of Costa Rica while en route to vacation. She was the sole survivor. A local tribe found her and raised her. In her youth her best friend and companion was another outsider to the tribe named Panda Killer. He is 8 years older than her but she enjoys his innocence and is charmed by his protective nature over her. (Panda Killer will be explained in detail in a later post). She can use any Jungle weapon with the utmost skill, and is amazingly resourceful, can adapt to any situation, and any culture. She managed to make her way to a University, as the tribe was not ignorant to the ways of the world. But upon completion she returned to Jungle to protect the sacred stone her father entrusted to her. Julie for all intensive purposes prefers the Jungle over the hectic city life.

Double O' Dagger: Dagger was born and raised in the surfing sub-culture of Malibu, California. Her dad and his best friend managed a private lifeguard station and auto repair shop. The lifeguard station was a front for their base to protect another sacred stone. Her dads best friend has a son named Dutch (to be discussed in a later post as well) and is in turn Dagger's best friend. Daggers abilities come from her dad's training. Below the lifeguard station is a mighty arsenal, arguably the largest in the world. Her dad taught her to master the use of every gun in the arsenal, from a musket to and AK-47, with ease and precision that is otherworldly. She is so precise that in taking down any enemy or threat she never has to kill them. Not to say that she wont!! On another level, she can sit at the breakfast table and cook eggs by using only a revolver and six shots. Powerful!! She prefers semi-automatic hand guns.

Dasha: Both Dasha and Boris were raised in a Russian military research program, that focused on biologically enhanced human soldiers. Both were volunteered to the program by their military parents. Dasha was raised and trained to be an explosive and demolition expert. The Russian government genetically engineered her to be able to withstand any blast without a scratch. While she is practically indestructible, she can only maintain it as long as her strength and cardio endurance maintain. In other words if she gets really tired she can get wolloped pretty good. She is the perfect soldier. Very calculating, smart, fast, tough, and absolutely fearless. On another note she is an extreme extrovert, and yet a social misfit as she was raised by the government for the most part. She loves to interact with normal people in normal situations, but she just doesn't know how to act properly in those situations. Its fun for her, but awkward for everyone else.
