Nomad Gallery

Wed Jul 1, 2009, 10:33 AM
Hey there gang, I'm finally updating this goofy journal. And I am happy to inform that the Nomad Gallery project is really moving along. To anyone in the LA area, the first show is going to be Sept 19. We have been fortunate to line up some killer artists!! I don't even know how it has happened to be honest, but among them are the mighty Sean Galloway a.k.a. Cheeks who has become a great friend over the past year, the untouchable Marcelo Vignali who happened to be an art director on Surfs Up, and just recently added Tang Heng who was the art director on Kung Fu Panda!!! I can promise you all one thing as well....the rest of the guys showing are equally as powerful, and I can't wait to see what they do with their free time. There are links to the list of artists on the website.

Oh...did I just say website??? Thats right!!! The big news of the moment is that the Nomad Gallery website is up.

It is real basic right now, but the store will be up in a month. Sean and I will hopefully have some goodies for you guys to kick things off. The site has a blog that we will update regularly from this point on as well. Please link up to us!! If anyone would like to submit art to show in the gallery please email me through the site.

On another dorky note, a big THANK YOU to everyone who has visited I have just hit 10,000 page views on the deviant art. WooooHOOOO!!! To be honest I was stoked at 100... I'm so happy to have been turned on to the deviant art thing, its like a drawing session with a ton of great artists that never ends. Magic!!!

A giant Mahalo to everyone!!! Keep throwin' down them lines and colors!!!

Hey Joe...we have guys showing work who live in Italy and Spain. You want in?? :)

COOL
except on your site, there are light blue words on a light blue background that are difficult to read - the links on the side.
I am doing Wizard World Chicago early in August and will probably have some left over prints. Will it be possible to submit art at that time? I'd love to be a part of this, and also, where is the gallery located?

Yeah...still got to tweak a few things. As far as submitting art...anytime!!! REad the blurbs about the gallery and it will explain where we will have the shows. Mostly LA for now. When you get your prints for Chicago I would love to see what you come up with.
:iconjfury:
oh yeah, that'd be sweet! let me know what you'd need

I've been mostly doing fan art recently, but I plan to make prints of some of my older OG stuff too. We'll see, it's coming fast and I'm working full time now...

Aaawww man...How I wish I'm near LA. :(
Do you plan to move to Seattle or somewhere near for the gallery show in the future??? I've plans to go there in the beginning of next year to visit my boyfriend. :)
